Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to fame after releasing her first album Age Ain't Nothing but an Number in 1994. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only fifteen when her debut album was released as Gold. It was made as an album that was heavily inspired by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri as well as Timbaland in her second studio album One In A Million, which featured the #1 hit single If Your Girl Knew. After the release of this work Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B singer. She was a part of martial arts legend Jet Li in the romance-action film Romeo Must Die. But, she has both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for professional name. Her acting career began in early 2000 with small parts in movies and TV. In addition to The Big Bang Theory her other most acclaimed works include Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017). She's also appeared in major commercials for brands like Volvo, an international auto maker. She has a daughter, who lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
