Annika Charlotta is an Swedish golfer. Her name is often cited as to be one of the best female golfers ever. Annika Sorenstam was the winner of more than 90 professional international golf tournaments prior to her retirement at the end of 2008's golf season. Annika is a 50 year old woman born on the 9th of October, 1970. Tom and Gunilla, her parents, are still living today. Tom worked as an IBM executive, while Gunilla was employed at the bank. Her sister is both a professional golfer and coach in Annika's academy. They were both the first golfers to achieve one million on the LPGA. Mike McGee is her husband and the couple have two children, Madelyn McGee & William Nicholas McGee. Annika and Mike married each other on the 10th of January, 2009. Annika's been an excellent golfer since when she was a kid. She was a Junior national tennis player and soccer player as well. Her family moved to Sweden in order to pursue her professional sports. She took home her first ALPG Tour Australia professional title in the year 1994. She placed in the top three and was awarded the LPGA Rookie of the Year Award. Annika was a major success in the year 1995. When she played in the US Women Open, she was the rookie for the LPGA of the year. She was also the first woman outside of America to take home the Vare trophy. Annika also ranked as the number one on the list of Money's top performers. Annika made the decision not to keep taking part in the 2008 contest. She actually threw out the first baseball pitch that evening.
